This is a site about growing cannabis. Under Canadian Law, every Canadian Household can have growing, up to 4 flowering cannabis plants. (Except in Manitoba and Quebec. If you live in Manitoba or Quebec, you need to change your government, because they are afraid of a PLANT!) You must also be over 19 years of age. (18 in Alberta). Imagine an endless supply of dispensary quality bud, known to be free of chemical adulterants or unknown treatments. If you GROW it, you KNOW it. It's also a fun hobby! 

Canadian Law also allows any Canadian over 19 to GIVE up to 30 grams of Cannabis to any other Canadian over 19

It is a hobby that requires the outlay of some funds, up front, like most hobbies do, but the reward at the end is worth it. Like many things, it's not going to be about saving money these days. There was a time, back when weed was illegal, and was selling for $280 an Oz (28.4gr), that growing was also a money saver. Today, I can go to a nearby dispensary and get $15 gr for $15. They have higher priced stuff on the shelves, but you can't out-compete them. Like going fishing for fish, rather than buying it at the store, or trying to raise your own chickens for fresh eggs, this will not save you money. It IS going to be a fun and rewarding hobby, and at the end, just like that salad with your own tomatoes that tastes so good, you'll roll up your own bud to share with your friends, and nothing can be finer. You'll probably want a budget of about $600 to $1000 to begin.
